pravda, zrovna mistake jako sloveso není v angličtině úplně nejčastější jev, ale mimo jiné z následujícího příkladu bude zřejmé, že se hodí jej znát (pozor na tvar v minulém čase)

z ostatních sloves tohoto typu bych největší pozornost zaměřil na misbehave (špatně se chovat), mistreat sb (s někým špatně zacházet, špatně se chovat k) a misjudge (špatně odhadnout člověka)

s předponou mis- se dá hodně improvizovat a přidávat ji před kdejaké sloveso. to ovšem příliš nedoporučuju, raději se držte ověřených sloves. k těm bych přiřadil mimo jiné misspell (chybně napsat, nesprávně spelovat), misinterpret (špatně si vyložit nějakou informaci), misdial (vyťukat na telefonu špatné číslo), miscue (špatně trefit kouli při kulečníku). myslím, že co se užitečnosti týče, je těžko po miscue pokračovat v nastoupeném trendu směrem dolů
